The bass though...

[WL - Deluxe Decay]

I have a question that is super cheesy because lots of people say it, but why aren’t you more popular? Anyway in the beginning, the warm synth with the sidechain is PERFECT. It is truly beautiful. Next the bass that comes in is a nice touch, but personally I would have gone for a nice warm reese bass. The bass in this song eventually comes together when it goes up an octave and adds some emotion. Now the drop. The main synth is HUGE and awesome and very WaterLemon. It could have sounded more future bassy but I can’t judge because it takes me years to design an even descent sounding chord synth. I like how the high hats go in and out of frame. I don’t know if that was intentional or not. Also, I would never have used those drums but because it’s synthwave, it somehow works. After that the arps that travel around are really sweet. I would have done some panning changes to make it more immersive though. Same thing until the drop... Here is where I blow up. The classic WL lead that is super duper high pitched is here. I woke up ten minutes ago and I am now awake. The synth at the end that fades out is most likely the intro synth but not sidechained (it is I had it on repeat and it sounded the same).

Thank you for this amazing song! I have never written such a long review but I have nothing else to do and I love this song.

You need to make more of this rock stuff. It's so dirty and grimy that it's amazing!

I am literally drowning in this bass. It is so wet, juicy, crunchy, fat, and funky. Literally think of any adjective and it will describe the bass. Nasty, wonky, dirty, rare, energetic, droopy, and so much more. The drums are perfect and so are the sound effects. A rare tune, and fantastic. 10 bionicles out of 10!

After enjoying Locomotive for about a month, I found you again and your new songs. I was listening to this and really enjoying it. It's very smooth and easy to relax to. The only slight problem is the drum mixing. I think it's just me, but the ride and the snare seem to be too loud maybe. I love it though!
